For those with an affinity for minimalistic, sleak and simplistic style, the white armchair is the perfect addition to the living room. When adding a white arm chair to a room the surroundings are vital, it musn't be out of place and should reflect and compliment the whole design of the room. For example a colourful crowded wouldn't suit a white armchair and vice-cersa, like a creme brulee at Mcdonalds.

One white armchair isn't great on its own, they should come in pairs and although it isn't necessary for the chairs to be the same, symetry is attractive and in this case it works also include an elegant glass coffee table in between or other suitable furniture.
As there is no colour, dimensions are everything. Straight edges and upright back is imposing powerful important, whilst curved shapes are more modern and laid back. Also it is important to keep in mind the legs of the chair, not all are on display but if so its a perfect opportunity for contrasting. Use a heavy varnish on the wood and the contrast can add so much more to the chair.
One must warn it is adviseable to to have a white chair with young children, those stains would end up being a vocal point of the chair.
