Convenience is our right hand man. But often enough, the easiest roads are not nearly as meaningful or attentive as they could potentially be. Say you want to congratulate someone, or maybe a good friend has the flu, or perhaps its a new year and you are traveling the world- you need to contact someone! Of course, its 2018 and the simplicty and convenience of sending a Facebook message or Whatsapp is readily at our finger tips. But what is the true effort and meaning in that?
Someone can really see if you care about them when you send something in the mail. The process of picking the perfect card, writing something sweet, searching your entire junk drawer for a stamp, and finally sending it off – it's really proof that you care to let them know you were thinking of them!
You also have the card for a lifetime, it's a souvenier from an important time in either your or the senders life. Whereas with messages via phone, you cannot keep them forever (well I suposse you could but who can afford that much iCloud storage?!) Get ready to send and recieve messages the old fashion way- but with a newly improved mailbox ;)
